THE TRAINING PYRAMID © C. O. D. A.  & P. CHILD (1995)

The Pyramid is one of the strongest shapes known to man.
Imagine the base of the Pyramid as representing the foundation of your training giving you a firm  and stable footing from which to work.
The 3 sides of a triangle (which form each face of a Pyramid) are allocated the following important facets:- Awareness, Techniques and Intention.

THE ACTION PYRAMID © C. O. D. A.  & P. CHILD (1995)

To apply the Training Pyramid in a real situation it is necessary to look at another triangular face of the Pyramid, this time consisting
of:- Surprise, Speed and Initiative. (We also have an alternative face on this Pyramid of Surprise, Speed and Aggression).
